Now developers with skills in HTML and a bit of Javascript can create engaging, full-fledged applications
using the familiar HTML/CSS and Javascript stack that is known to web developers everywhere.
With the PhoneGap distribution platform mobile applications can be developed and distributed to both
Android and iPhone devices-- including the popular iPad and Android tablets.
This session will being with a review of the HTML skills necessary for mobile development and the
special considerations that must be included for the mobile environment. Following will be a review of
CSS for mobile-- and important information on design for mobile. Javascript instruction will follow
as participants will learn to use the language for fostering interaction within the mLearning application.
Students will then learn to use PhoneGap to distribute their applications to the Android and iPhone
mobile platforms.
