Overview
Students will learn about the new features in Microsoft Excel 2002.
Prerequisites
Office 97 to Office XP: New Features, Excel 97: Worksheets, Excel 97: Charting and Organizing Data, and Excel 97: Advanced or equivalent knowledge.
Target Student
Students enrolling in this course should have advanced knowledge of Excel 97.

Lesson objectives help students become comfortable with the course, and also provide a means to evaluate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use the new features included in the Excel XP environment.
Use the new tools available in Excel XP.
Use the enhanced features for working with data.
Use the new and improved function features

Hardware/software Requirements
A Pentium 133 MHz or higher processor with a minimum of 64 MB of RAM of the operating system and an additional 8 MB of RAM for each Office application running simultaneously. (For Windows 98 or Windows 98 SEE, 24 MB of RAM for the operating system. For Windows Me or Windows NT, 32 MB of RAM for the operating system.) A minimum of 520 MB of free hard disk space. Either a local CD-ROM drive or access to a networked CD-ROM drive for installation proposes. A Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse, or compatible pointing device. A super VGA or higher resolution monitor. An installed printer driver. Microsoft NT 4.0 with service pack 6x or higher installed, and a complete installation of Microsoft Office XP.
