WebSphere Training Overview

This course teaches the student how to setup, customize and operate WebSphere MQ for z/OS. Through a series of lectures and hands-on exercises, you learn to handle the general system administration tasks in MVS environment (OS/390 and z/OS). The topics include single system setup, queue definitions, recovery and logging, triggering, interconnected systems, channel definitions, and many others.

WebSphere Training Audience

System administrators responsible for the setup and maintenance of WebSphere MQ subsystems on MVS (OS/390 or z/OS).

Students should have:

  • Technical Introduction to WebSphere MQ, plus system administration experience in MVS environment.
