This is a 5-day course provides an introduction to the C++ language, programming in C++, and an introduction to Object-Oriented technology, analysis and design. The course is designed for programming professionals who are not familiar with Standard C.

C++ For Non-C Programmers I is the first of a two-course series presenting the C++ language. This presentation of the C++ language is designed to be operating system independent. Special operating system conventions and requirements are presented as appropriate. Lessons on object-oriented technology, analysis, and design are included to provide more complete understanding of the features of C++.

A hands-on lab accompanies each lesson. Labs are cumulative, each contributing to a course project. Labs may be omitted entirely if a lecture-only course is desired. Labs are more challenging than those found in the first course.
