Microsoft Office Courses Overview
Students will learn how to create documents with an HTML format, connected by hypertext, for use on the World Wide Web or on a corporate intranet.
Courses Benefits:
Students will learn how to create and edit webs and web pages, apply paragraph and character formatting to web pages, create links between and within pages, create links to the World Wide Web, create a Navigation bar, insert and create links from images, insert and format tables, and import, rename, delete, and publish a web.
Prerequisites
- Windows 98: Introduction or Windows 98: Making the Transition.
- Microsoft Word 2000: Level 1 and Microsoft Word 2000: Level 2.
- Internet Explorer 4.0: Introduction.
- Recommended but not required: HTML 4.0 Programming: Level 1.
- It is also recommended that students have Web surfing experience.
Delivery Method:
Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
Target Student;
Students enrolling in this course should understand the Windows environment, word processing, and how to use a Web browser.

FrontPage 2000: Introduction is the first course in this series. FrontPage 2000: Advanced, the next course in this series, teaches students how to use the advanced features of FrontPage 2000 and other web-based components.
Hardware / Software Requirements
You will need a 486-compatible PC that meets the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 95 or later or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or higher installed. (A Pentium 90 with 32 MB of RAM or better is recommended.) You will need 200 MB of free hard drive space. (Windows NT only: At least 4 MB of available space in the Registry.) You will need Microsoft Windows 95 or later, or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or higher installed. Microsoft Office 2000 is needed, including a custom installation of FrontPage 2000.
You will need a full Internet connection for each computer. This course was developed using Microsoft Internet Explorer, which is shipped with FrontPage 2000. You should use Internet Explorer in this course. If you use another browser, some of the screens and steps might be different from those contained in this text.

- Apply formatting to characters and paragraphs and apply themes.
