QuarkXPress Overview
You have probably been using QuarkXPress for a while, and your skills may be to a point where you can easily create just about any type of document. However, you may still struggle when dealing with complicated layouts, or you may want to tackle some of the more advanced issues involved with high-end printing. In the first half of this course, you will apply some helpful techniques to make formatting forms much easier, and you will manipulate inks and apply trapping to documents in order to further control the way your documents print.
Also, if you've worked in the design industry, you have probably been asked to share your documents electronically, or post your documents via the Internet. In the second half of this course, you will generate several types of PDFs, and you will convert content from your documents to HTML and XML formats.
Objectives:
You will design complicated layouts more efficiently, control the way documents print to a high-end press, and produce output in PDF, HTML, and XML formats.
