LiveMotion 2.0: Level 2 (Windows)
Adobe Training Overview

LiveMotion™ 2.0 Level 2 is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce you to advanced concepts of the Adobe® LiveMotion™ 2.0 Web animation application. In this course, you will expand on the knowledge you gained in the LiveMotion™ 2.0 Level 1 course. You will work with advanced animation features available in LiveMotion, including: imported images, sounds, and native Photoshop files; movie clips and movie clip groups; animated and remote rollovers; Web site integration; labels and scripts; advanced export features; and automation scripts and Live Tabs.

Adobe Training Certification

Illustrator® 10: Level 2 is one of three courseware titles that address the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Program objectives for the Illustrator 10.0 exam. The ACE Program is for graphic designers, Web designers, developers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, and business professionals who seek recognition for their expertise with specific Adobe products. Certification candidates must pass a product proficiency exam in order to become an Adobe Certified Expert.

Adobe Training Prerequisites

To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the following course or have equivalent knowledge:

Hardware/Software Requirements

You will need

  • Intel Pentium III or faster processor.
  • Microsoft Windows 98, Me, 2000, or XP operating system.

  • Adobe LiveMotion 2.0.
  • Adobe GoLive (for optional task).
  • Adobe Photoshop (for optional task).
Performance-Based Objectives

Lesson objectives help students become comfortable with the course, and also provide a means to evaluate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Import images, sounds, and native Photoshop and Illustrator files, and integrate them into LiveMotion compositions.
  • Work with movie clips, movie clip groups, and group masks to create complex animated effects and looping animations.
  • Build complex rollovers, including rollovers with animated image states, and remote rollovers that affect target objects and trigger behaviors.
  • Create image maps that allow the viewer to link to external Web sites from within the animation, and streamline your workflow by using Adobe GoLive and LiveMotion in tandem.
  • Combine multiple compositions into a single composition, and use scripting to build preload sequences and animations that include interactive elements.
  • Use LiveMotion's advanced export features to optimize exported compositions for quality and file size.
  • Use automation scripting and Live Tabs to quickly perform complex tasks within LiveMotion.
