Overview

Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) has become the golden standard for programming Windows applications. This course will give you a thorough introduction to the most important aspects of programming MFC. Interactive demonstrations will be used to demonstrate the tools which make Visual C++ 5.0 a powerful programming environment. Students will have a chance to reinforce theoretical aspects of MFC and learn effective use of the tools in the extensive labs provided with this class.


Prerequisites

This course assumes a basic knowledge of C++. Windows programming experience is helpful but not required. Note that this class can be combined with a day of introduction to C++. Some topics can be eliminated to maintain the course duration of 5 days.
