The course provides a thorough grounding in the Solaris Unix Operating System through comprehensive hands-on exercises and labs. Upon completion of this course participants are ready to work confidently in the Solaris Environment. This course is a pre-requisite for the Solaris Advanced Course.

Solaris Training Audience

People who want to learn more about the Unix Solaris Operating System. This includes people who must work with Solaris in their jobs, for example, Web Developers, System Administrators and people running other applications on Solaris.

Solaris Training Prerequisites

Basic PC skills and a strong knowledge of DOS would be helpful but is not essential.
